The Son of Man.

The Lord Jesus was rejected by the Jewish rulers and people when he came to them as Messiah. The Scriptures say, “He came unto his own and his own received him not” (John 1:11). After the complete rejection of Israel, Jesus Christ takes on the title, Son of Man. This ushers in a wider and more comprehensive sway of the Lord authority and power. He will not only have rights over Israel but all people and things in the universe. In the coming Millennium period, he will reign throughout the universe over all things as Son of Man. The Lord says, For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works” (Matthew 16:27).
